Where is Two Islands Weekend?
Two Islands Weekend takes place at Camp Timberlane, located on Lake of Two Islands, a secluded, spring-fed lake, surrounded by 1,100 acres of hardwood forest in the Haliburton Highlands. Their address is: Camp Timberlane, 1612 Dudley Road, Haliburton, Ontario.
When does the weekend begin/end?
Camp gates opens at 4:00 pm on Friday September 11th, 2020.
Camper check-in and program sign-up is from 5:00pm – 7:30 pm. We don’t recommend it, but should you need to arrive later than 7:30 pm, please let us know – we’ll be sure to have staff on hand to check you in. Please note that dinner on Friday night begins around 7-7:30pm.
The weekend comes to an end on Sunday, September 13th, 2020 at 2:00 pm.
What are the accommodations?
Each cabin has room for 8‐16 (in bunks) in the main room and an additional 4 (bunks) beds in a smaller, adjacent room. Each cabin has its own bathroom and there are designated showers buildings nearby, for men and women. Glass windows and covered porches provide a gorgeous view of the private lake and woods, while allowing warm sunlight and fresh breezes to brighten and cool each cabin.
What is included in a standard cabin ticket?
Lodging for 2 nights, meals, snacks, beverages (yes - that includes booze!) and all programming.
What's included in a VIP cabin ticket?
You'll get all amenities in the standard cabin, plus a welcome basket filled with goodies and an exclusive private cabin for you and your friends.
Can I stay with my friends?
Yes! Regardless of whether you purchase a standard cabin or a VIP cabin ticket, we guarantee you'll be with your friends. To ensure that you are bunked with your pals, please register as a GROUP. Please refer to our handy dandy ticket buying guide to make your ticket buying experience a breeze.
I want to come with friends, but would like to buy their ticket separately. Can I do this?
Yes! Be sure to register as a GROUP. You can purchase 1 ticket or more and will be placed together, so long as you are using the group registration function Please refer to our handy dandy buying guide to make your ticket buying experience a breeze.
I want to bunk with my friends, but we don't want a VIP cabin.
No problem. You and your friends can register as a GROUP, we'll guarantee that we'll put you together, along with other amazing campers (who will seen be your new friends!). Please refer to our handy dandy ticket buying guide for more details.
I have more than 16 friends who want to bunk together - can we do that?
It's possible, but we can't guarantee it, since we have very few cabins that can accommodate that size. Send an email to Natalie at and she'll do her best to figure it out.
I'm buying tickets for myself and friends. What information to do I need from my friends in order to purchase their tickets?
You are a great pal! We actually need to know quite a bit of important information about each camper, such as dietary restrictions, emergency contact, allergies or other medical conditions, etc. We recommend that your friend provide you with this information before you purchase tickets. Please refer to our handy dandy ticket buying guide for more details.
Who will be in my cabin?
You can choose to be in a gender-specific cabin or co-ed cabin by indicating your preference when you purchase your ticket and we guarantee we'll accommodate.
Are all cabins co-ed?
Certainly not! When you purchase your tickets, you can indicate if you want to be in a co-ed, women only or male only cabins.
Can I request a quiet cabin?
Absolutely! This year, we've added a new option for your cabin selection: Quiet cabins for Early Risers.
Early Riser Cabins will be for those who prefer to have a quiet night to get an early start on the day. There will be a noise/lights out curfew of 11 p.m. (unless otherwise agreed upon with your cabin mates.) However, if you’re in a Early Riser Cabin and find yourself up past then, just be extra mindful + respectful of your sleeping cabin mates when you come in. Early Riser Cabins will also be located away from the standard cabins and the Mess Hall where many late night activities take place. Violators will be shushed.
What is the schedule for the weekend?
We have a jam packed schedule that begins as soon as you arrive to camp! The details will be sent to you via email a few weeks prior to camp.
Do I have to participate in the activities?
No, but we definitely encourage getting the most of the weekend by participating in the activities. This is a camp for grown-ups and you are free to use your time however you’d like. That being said, there are specific meal times that will not be altered for late comers. There will be snacks available at all times, but should you miss a meal, we can get you something to eat, but it likely won’t be the awesome food prepared by our chefs.
Are there “in’s and out’s?”
Technically, yes. But we’d prefer you didn’t. Should you need to leave for a short bit, you’ll need to tell an organizer before you go and check in when you return.
Is there an age limit to enter the event?
This is a 19+ event. We like kids a whole lot – but this is a weekend strictly for adults.
Will there be vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, and allergy specific food options?
Of course! You can indicate this in your registration when you purchase your ticket.
What do I need to bring?
We’ll send you a packing list before a few weeks before the weekend.
Do you have Two Islands Weekend merchandise?
Can I bring a tent to sleep in?
Sleeping accommodations are in assigned cabins only.
Is transportation included?
All campers are required to organize their own transportation. To reduce your carbon footprint and save money on gas, we highly encourage you to carpool. We will organize a rideshare program for anyone interested in giving or getting a lift. Details will be sent in early summer.
Can I bring my dog?
No. An exception is made for campers with Service Animals. Campers who require their Service Animal should indicate this in the registration package.
Is Camp Timberlane wheelchair accessible?
Yes! Should any guest be in a wheelchair or require special assistance in some way, please indicate this on the registration when you purchase tickets and we’ll be happy to accommodate you.
Is there going to be alcohol?
As part of your all-inclusive package beer, wine, cider and coolers will be provided, at select times. On Friday and Saturday night the bar will run from 5 pm until 2 am. There will be no bar service on Sunday.
Can I smoke?
Yes, but not indoors and leaving your butts on the ground is ABSOLUTELY not allowed. There will be ashtrays available at all the fire pits. Please be respectful of the environment and throw your butts away in the appropriate spot.
Does the price advertised include tax and fees?
The price does not include tax (HST) or a service fee. These will be added at checkout.
Tickets are sold out! Do you have a waitlist?
We sure do. Once tickets are sold out the waitlist will be enabled on Eventbrite. Go to the Two Islands Weekend page and add your information into the system. When a ticket becomes available you will be contacted and will have 24 hours to claim the ticket. If you do not respond, the tickets are released to the next person in line. What is the refund policy?
There are no refunds, partial refunds or reimbursements of any kind, for any reason, with no exceptions. If you need to refund your ticket, we need to find someone to take your place. Contact Natalie at and ask if there is anyone on the waitlist. We’ll send an alert to our waitlist, but can’t offer any guarantees. Once someone claims your spot, we will refund your ticket in full.
I can no longer come, but my friend wants to buy my ticket.

I can no longer come and can’t find anyone to take my ticket - can you help me sell my tickets?
We’ll send an alert to our waitlist, but can’t offer any guarantees. Once someone claims your spot, we will refund your ticket in full.
I bought my tickets on a promotion (i.e. early bird) and now it's over and my friend wants to come. Can they get the same discount?
Unfortunately, no. Once a sale or promotion is over, it is over.
*In the event that Two Islands Weekend is cancelled each camper (guest) will receive a full reimbursement, less $30 for a processing fee.
